What is this mold?

 ???I was going through my stuff and I found a Lyman bullet mold.  It says 410 on the box, the mold itself is stamped 410 590.  I cannot find it listed on the Lyman site.  I guess it was made for the 41 mag.  Anyone know what I have?

It is new, and I had not even taken it out of the wrapper.  I felt none too smart when I finally took it out to take a picture and saw that it was a mold for a round ball.

 That is a big list of modls,,,,We missed out  on casting in the hay days of lead ...
 You have a mold that is not shown... -- is there a patent No. on the mold or box? you might find how many were made..     That is how pop bottle work   Dan

Hmm,  my 1973 Lyman Cast Bullet Handbook does not list a bullet with those numbers.  Could you double check?  Can you show photos of the cavity?  I might be interested in buying it if it would work in a 41 mag.  What nose shape does it have?

Here is just about every mould Lyman had in production.
If its not here it might be from Ideal before Lyman bought them out.

To clarify, I posted before I opened the mold.  It was brand new and for some reason I did not want tear the wrapper open.  When I finally decided to open it I saw it was a mold for a round ball.  I don't even remember where or why I bought it.  Probably saw it somewhere at a price that made me decide to buy it and hold it until I got a gun to go with it.


I tried to post a picture of it, and I apparently did not do it right... no picture.
