Also try bearbasin.com.  Seems to be a toss up on prices between SWFA and them.  I've used both and have been happy with both.  Also D&R Sports Center back in PA seems to have a good selection and prices but I've no experience with them.

Don't forget www.theopticzone.com.  I believe they carry Simmons.

HOWEVER, I DO NOT advocate buying a Simmons scope.  Why do you have your eyes set on a Simmons?

I have two recommendations for you and a comment.

Recommendation one: Buy something else besides a Simmons. If you buy the Simmons you almost for sure will regret it later. Now the comment. If you igonore this advice and buy it anyway don't come whining here later looking for sympathy. We told ya don't do it.

Recommendation two: Buy from one of the three advertisers who support this site. If you support those who support this site it will be here for you in the future when you look for advice.

Serious reconsider that Simmons. Buy a Bushnell in the same price range. You'll get twice the scope for the money.

I would personally go with the Bushnell Elite.  It is a much better scope, optically and mechanically.  They are a very tough scope!!  I have a simmons on my muzzleloader right now and this year it will be off the gun and something new will be on it for hunting season.

Some people would probably disagree, but Simmons is a cheaply made scope.  Yet they work fine for some applications, but not for serious hunting or target shooting situations.

As for the internation orders, we can help you out.  We ship several orders a week to other parts of the world.  One thing that you should know, depending on your location, all retail scope stores must, by law, apply for an export license with the U.S. Government before they can ship the scope.  Typically this will take 2-6 weeks.  If you are interested, let me know where you live and I can tell you if a license is required.

See this site for an excellent explanation of scopes by various manufacturers:

You will NOT find any other place to be cheaper than one of the three folks who advertise here. In alphabetical order they are:

1. D&R Sport Shop
2. The Optic Zone
3. SWFA

Click on their banners to visit their sites.

You've already been told about Bear Basin, Natchez and Midsouth Shooters Supply. There just are no other places I'm aware of that will even come close to matching the prices of those six places and almost always one of my advertisers will beat the other two on price. IF you happen to find someone else with a cheaper price you best be asking around about them before buying. There are some shady folks out there who will take your money but might not deliver what you buy.

Another thing to be aware of is shipping charges.  I've seen some real good deals that weren't so because of higher shipping cost.
