I have the Guardian.

The only problem I had was chamber was too tight.  Sent it to Utah, and they polished it, then sent it back.  They also replaced the springs. no charge.  Wonderful customer service. Ranks up there with Henry rifles.

I got the IWB and standard holster with it.

They make a mag extension should you desire.

It has fired ALL factory and reloaded ammo I've put through it without a feed jam.

I carry the gun all of the time, regardless of attire.

Its a little heavier than the LCP I believe.

Beretta makes nice little .380's. Seen a lot of them fired at the gun range I used to work at and the customers seemed to love them.

Between the two mentioned, and considering the intended purpose, I'd settle for the lighter slightly more compact LCP.

For the additional power and slight diffrence in size I would go with the Kel-Tech P-9, cost is close and 9mm ammo is cheaper and much easier to come by, especially in a good self defense round,  But between the two mentioned I would go with the Rugar.

To me, the size difference between the PF9 & the P3AT/LCP is slight, but significant enough to make the PF9 too large for a pocket pistol. (My pockets anyway) The PF9 is still small/light enough to carry IWB and just forget it's there. These days I carry the PF9 as much as the P3AT.

Have you considered a Bersa? I bought one after spending some time firing a co-workers and I'm quite happy with it.  There's a post on this forum about them, and if you do a little internet research you can find many positive reviews amongst magazine articles & user groups.
Just my two cents.

The Bersa is a nice gun, but the OP wants a nice Little pistol in .380. The Bersa is in the compact 9mm size range, and heavier than most of those. For the size pistol the OP wants, it really comes down to the LCP or the P3AT. Haven't seen the Kahr compact .380 yet. It may be a player in that market as well.

Suspect the Kahr will be similar to the NAA.  Kahr made the frame for the Guardian.

Having had a NNA Guardian, I would vote hands down for the LCP.  Nothing wrong with the Guardian, but it is much heavier than the LCP.  When you are carrying one in your pocket for extended periods, the weight does make a difference.  Even when carrying a belt gun for CCW, lighter and smaller is always preferable.  Savage does make a point about the close size of the PF9, but to me, it is still not a pocket pistol.  You CAN carry it in a pocket, but it is not ideal.  It is better in a IWB holster and is my prefered carry gun at this time.  Savage is correct in that it IS much easier to find 9mm ammo than .380 at this time.  44 Man

Find a Grendel P12 and polish the crap out of every metal part
to get it to work right and be good to go. It is kind of the
"Grandpa" of the guns you mentioned.

I want to echo this advice.

I have a KelTec P3AT (.380 Auto) that is quite similar to the Ruger LCP and find it is pocketable and light enough to carry in a pocket.  Heavier handguns as 44 Man says especially for pocket carry can be problematic, especially if you carry an extra full clip in the same pocket.
