What type of bullet?

I'm thinking about getting an H&R in .223, What type of bullet would you use for coyotes. Would a nosler ballistic tip do the job or would you use a regular hollow point?

A 50 gr. Ballistic Tip or V-Max would be a great choice for coyotes in your 223.

hey corey! ive been useing rem 55 grn soft points i buy in bulk for reloading. they are cheap and have good results on small game like yotes. also very accurate. however you will never go wrong with noslers bullets, i use them for my deer loads in bigger rifles but they are a bit pricey. jus my 2 cents werth!

The H&R is kind of fussy about what it will shoot well.  Check out the H&R sites at http://www.hr1871.com/talk/index.htm and http://groups.yahoo.com/group/nef-singleshot/ for lots of comments about them.
