Got my PF9!
« on: May 06, 2009, 10:23:41 AM »
Ok Boy and Girls, I finally got my PF9 after salivating over one for the last 6 months.  Finished up a trade today and brought her home.  I am very surprised at the function and accuracy.  As much as I have knocked Wolf ammo (for good reason, I never could get it to run in my wife's Kahr), I find myself with about 500 rounds of 9mm on hand as a 'throw in' from another trade.  So I thought 'What the heck, I'll use it to get a couple hundred rounds through her to break it in'.  Thinking all the while I will not be upset if it chokes on it or I have malfunctions.  Well, after 50 rounds (that was enough for one session, this little bugger does back up and bark!), I had no malfunctions of any kind and I was impressed by the accuracy of this gun with the wolf.  So here it is, shot from 10 yards off-hand, with the third magazine though the gun.  Sometime I'm going to shoot it across a rest and she what she will really do.  I'm happy!!!  44 Man

Glad it is wroking out for you .I have one  (PF9) and have not found any thing it will not shoot.I still prefer my P11, but not by much.
The PF9 is easier to conceal.Front pocket carry with it is a joy.    Doug

I would enjoy a P11 for a second 9mm, IF they would put the PF9 trigger in it.  I just don't like that heavier trigger pull.  Of course in it's favor the P11 does have second strike capability.  Yes, I'm very pleased with the way this shoots.  44 Man

If my P11 had shot like that I'd still own it.

I've got two P-11s. Neither one will hold a candle to my PF9. I actually shoot my P3ATs better than my P-11s. Go figure!
Congratulations, 44 man, the PF9 is a great carry pistol for a little money!! She does spank the hand a bit tho!   ;D

Bought a PF9 for my daughter a couple of months ago.  She is 21 and really shoots the KT well.  I had her shooting my 3AT but she didn't like the way it felt in her hand.  The PF9 is the weapon for her.  It conceals well and she can hit what she intends to shoot.  So far the gun has had about 200 rounds through it with no problems.  I may get one for me now. ;)

Great shooting.  P-9's are accurate and fairly easy to shoot rapidly.
P-11's are also very  accurate but a bitch to shoot fast as they have a long horrible trigger pull.  Split times in practice are very slow if you want to hit anything.  P-9 splits are easy to keep below .40 seconds.
Remember smooth is fast.
