Heading east guys!
« on: September 14, 2003, 05:53:37 PM »
My dad is on his deathbed so I am packed up and ready to go.  Will be gone the entire moose season here.  That is 2 weeks for the lower 48 crew.  Don't know when I will have to leave, just know it will be soon.

Hope everyone fills their freezer while I am gone and no one gets eaten by a bear. :D

Dave,

Sorry to hear about your father. I just had to attend my grandfather's memorial on Saturday. Just last fall (Sept. 13th) my own father passed away. I'll pray for you and your father! Hope all will be well.

Nonetheless, hope you get some hunting in this year. I've been busting butt, but still have a moose tag that needs to be filled and I still need to get a black bear. :o

Via con Dios, Dave.   If you pass through Anchorage, we've got a hot meal for you.  Let us know when you get back in town.

Dave,
My sympathies go out to you and your family, my friend.  If you will be in Central NY, call me up, send an e-mail, and we'll grab some bar-b-que downtown if you have some free time. Send a PM and I will give you my phone #.

My thoughts and prayers are also with you Dave.  I lost my dad when I was a child and life was kind of tough.  So you can be grateful for all the years you have been able to know your dad and all the experiences you were able to share.

Thanks for the support guys.  I am just waiting for the call.  Not quite the same as waiting for that big buck to come into a shooting lane.

Family is so very important.  My family and I will say a prayer for you and yours.  Your father can be proud, he raised a good man.  God bless Old Moss
Best regards, be safe, and keep your powder dry!
