My new Tikka T3 Hunter .243Win

Hey, just wanted to show off some pictures of my new Tikka T3 Hunter in .243 Winchester. This rifle fits me very comfortably and I couldn't be happier with the fit and finish of it. I also went ahead and put a DNZ Game Reaper one piece scope mount on it for my own peace of mind. I would recommend the DNZ mounts, they fit perfectly and feel very solid and well made. Also, my scope is a Weaver Classic 3x9x38. Hopefully I'll be able to get out to the range this weekend or next to get it sighted in.

 I have the same model. Love it! Nice and light and does the one-inch guarenteed group! Been used to shooting large Caliber for Deer and wasn`t sure about the .243. Three shots and three Dead Deer! The one went down so fast I wasn`t sure I got it! I shoot the cheap Blue Box Federals.  Do you have any opinion on the Weaver scope yet?? Wanting to get a new scope for my Tikka....

Do you have any opinion on the Weaver scope yet?? Wanting to get a new scope for my Tikka....

So far I have only used this Weaver once at the range on another rifle before switching it over to my new Tikka. But in my opinion, it is a good quality scope for the money. I haven't used any high-end scopes, so I don't have much to compare it to. I did a lot of research before I bought that Weaver, and everything I could find said that they are good quality and that people have been happy with them. I know that the lenses are made in Japan so they aren't Chinese junk.

Bottom line, I like the scope and I'm glad I bought it... it beats the hell out of the Simmons scope I was using before I bought the Weaver.

Congrats..Best of luck with it.I wanted a Hunter but Beretta didnt import them in LeftHand. Your gonna love it.
