Sights used on your Benjamin, peep or factory dovetail?
« on: May 08, 2009, 04:26:33 AM »
My Benjamin 392 came with the traditional dove tail sight, I know that there is a peep sight (aperture) that you can get.  I learned to shoot with the traditional dovetail, so it is not a big issue for me, scopes don't mount well on this rifle, so that is not an option.  The people who have used both of the metal sights, is it worth it to buy and install the aperture sight on this rifle?

Thanks.

Chris D.

Go for the peep sight, I've had one on my 397 for about a year now.  I only shoot at soup cans at 40 yds. but when you have light on your target its like shooting a scope.

Amen on the peep sights. Put 'em on my 397 8 years ago and never regretted it.
