Need a 38 special recipe.
« on: May 14, 2009, 02:20:26 PM »
I'm looking for the range of powder charges to load for 38 special using Hornady 125 grain FN/XTP #35730 bullets and Unique powder. I seldom load maximum charges, but would be interested in knowing what the max would be so I don't exceed that.

In these times of scarce components, these were the goodies that I was able to barter for, so this is what I have to work with.  I might add that I found CCI small pistol primers today and surprised myself that I was happy to pay $39.99 per thousand.

I'd certainly appreciate any thoughts on powder charges with the above mentioned components.

Thanks
