I'm Impressed

I'm impressed, too.  Howie has several great places to hunt, and he works hard at it.  The hogs didn't cooperate as they were nocturnal for the couple of days I was there, just coming off of a full moon.  That and the fact that everyone has just started operating their deer feeders full time gives them lots of feeding options.

There is no doubt that the hogs are there, and several sets of tracks were made by hogs that will go over 400 pounds.

Howie got to shoot some good cast bullet handloads in his 45-70, and there is no doubt in my mind that he and that rifle will make a sizeable dent in the local hog population.  I'm going back as soon as time permits, hopefully by the end of the month.  Shoot straight, rdnck.
