Pachmyr Grip

I have a finger grooved Pachmyer grip.  How can I tell if it is a normal finger groove or a decellerator grip?

The decelerator grip is supposed to be 50% softer than the normal grip. I have a couple of sets and they are pretty soft. I would just kind of use your fingernail to test how soft it is. If you can push it with your fingernail pretty easily its probably a decelerator. If it feels pretty hard its probably not.  KN
