I know it won't be much unless thousands or rather, millions do it..but since I am a guy ..just like most here, that believe in God, the Constitution and freedom..
Starting tonight, I'm hanging a teabag in the back window of both my car & truck...I may start leaving them here and there where it appears our Constitution or our God has ben slighted..

I'm just about ready to go to the town meeting right now; I will carry a teabag in my pocket and if necessary..wave it at the proper time..

You know, that's not a bad idea. I'll do that too. Of course I'd have to replace the fuzzy dice hanging from my rear-view mirror, but I can make that sacrifice.

Thinking of getting some little magnets and every time I see an Obama bumper sticker on a car or truck, I'll attach a tea bag beneath it

Thanks guys..spread the word every way you can..

I came onto this idea because although I am an independent, I have occasionally supported the Republicans simply because they aren't anti-Christ(ian) and anti 2nd amendment..
Latest letters I got ask for money, but allow NO PLACE..no e-mail or address to voice my opinion in return..I decided they aren't listening anymore either..Looks like the Republicans are trying to "out Democrat"..the Democrats.. STUPID!! they can't do it..and even if they did, they would only be adding to the disaster which national politics already is...

I am sickened by "parties"..they have "partied" too long at our expense... They don't ask our opinion..so we give them our opinion..

To me, the teabag reflects a belief in the US Constitution, individual; freedom, righht to keep & bear arms and respect for God..among other things... and I'M NOT LISTENING TO PARTIES ANYMORE !!!

LET THEM KNOW WHERE WE STAND.......!!!!

when you pay any taxs send in a tea bag with your check or even better pay your property taxs in change saw a guy on tv that paid his in change 5,000 dollars worth that was funny. Plus they cant refuse it.

ive been to two gunstores today. about dispencing teabags at thier store..toldem id supply the teabags.. join me brothers ..this aint the time to set on a fence..

After reading all the post here I think we may be missing an important point. Originally the concept of using the tea bags were to signify our concern for over taxation. While I think it is still a good idea to show support for our rights of gun ownership we need to make sure the right meassage is sent out. When someone ask about the tea bags in the window and what it represents the answer should be well thought out before responding. Because of the news media many people see the tea bags as a bad thing. It is our job to make sure the meassage gets out accurately.

I would just hearken back to the tea party held over 200 years ago; and remind them that the teabag says, " I believe in the Constitution of the US and especially it's "Bill of Rights"..which was written to protect the people from a tyrant government"..

theres always a reason not to do it ,if you really just don t want to get involved.. today i had a wealthy gunowner tell me thats what he thinks of gun owners of today.. just interested in self an thier on self getting to shoot thier guns .. so they don t make waves thinking they might slide under the radar.. that was his reason for not being interested in teabags in the windows.. as to it legitamacy .. we make it mean what ever we say it means to us..to me its just a symbol of finally gun owners realizing a need to stand togather an protect our rights ,an all individual freedoms..i hate for freedom to be lost on my watch.. i ll be very sad an ashamed.. slim

You are correct Slim. Many will find excuses and many will be mislead because of different meassages sent out. In order to be taken seriously everyone tea bagging needs to be on the same page relating the same ideas. The Constitution, Second Amendment and taxation should all be included.

Just this morning Fox News showed the results of their political affiliation poll. It showed the voter identification as follows;

Democrats.......33%
Republican.......22%
Independent....39%

This is the first time in many a moon, that both Dems and Reps have trailed the independents. Although the Dems may want to feel smug that they have about a 10 point lead over the Reps..they better tread lightly. As I see it, right now the radical left have a home with the Democrats..in fact they "own" the Democrats..and the moderates are with the independents...While the Republicans have moderates leading while they have abandoned the base.
The 39% (independents) would be composed primarily (IMO) of Christian/Constitutional right along with moderates who can't handle the radical left seizing the Democratic party..
In any case, both parties will have to court the independents next election, and if we independents hang together we can gain greatly.
