Well I have always told everyone to just shoot at single spots, one arrow per spot.  I got talking to a new bow shooter today and put one right down the ol spine with one of my new arrows at 20 yards.

I did the same thing from 20 yards back in the fall of 2007. I think it was October and I had just gotten my first bow in July. The cool thing is that my cousin did it about a week before I did. It was a bittersweet feeling because it makes you feel really good about yourself...but arrows are expensive. Sorry about the pic quality I used a crappy cell phone.

I too got a couple robinhoods with my 1st Mathews (Legacy) and again with my Switchback XT. The club owner was getting tired of replacing arrows for all the guys getting robinhoods as they were not achieving the same luck or skill their older PSE & Browning bow lol.
Right on, That's good to see. Keep it up lol.

I done it again today  ::)

Went up to our local state park archery range.... shot at one of the bale targets wearing a Turkey target at 70 yards thru the trees.  Then walked up to the 25 yard marked shooting line and shot again, and really did not think anything of it.  Well when we went to pull the arrows out, I had shot clean thru the shaft of the first arrow... a Carbon Express Aramid KV which are not cheap.  ;D

I got back into archery last year right at the end of March. The first week, I hit my first at 20yds figured it was a fluke, but quit shooting groups anyway.

Then in Sept, I was getting ready for our opening weekend and figured since I was stretching it out a bit I would go for a group at 30. Well second shot I heard the distinct crack of carbon on carbon, and got my second. Again quit shooting groups.

A couple of months back, I was working on our property and had the bow along to practice since I have shot it since Dec. Got a flat on the tractor and while waiting for the compressor to pressure up, figured I would shoot a couple at 40yds. Again not thinking anything about it, and figuring since I hadn's shot in a couple of months I would shoot a group. Again second shot "CRACK", and two more bite the dust.

The only saving grace to it all was that they are CE 6075's which aren't overly expensive. If they had been my newer FMJ's, then I would have gotten an attitude for sure.

Although fun, and that feeling of self gratification, it does get pricey lol. That is why I now shoot different targets on the same block, a half dozen arrows is over $40 bucks...that adds up  :o
