Y'all might already know this but it's new to me. I found out that the air soft holsters ( wal mart 6.00$ ) work well for the ruger p series pistols. My 1911 also fits ok too. There is also a mag pocket on the barrel side. My 16 year old son placed first in idpa in his division using this holster. Hope this helps someone out.....lost
