Rem. 760 short action magazine interchangeability?

I need magazine for an early (1957) 760 in 257 Rbts, but don't necessarily care if it's the correctly marked one, just that it's a steel 760 (not plastic & steel 7600) mag and functions in my rifle.

Will the other short action magazines work? 243/6mm/308/7mm08, etc?

Does anyone have one they want to sell?

Yes they will. Along with the 35 Rem.
