Two new items
« on: May 20, 2009, 06:07:45 PM »
A new mortar pictured next to a favorite (new to the area) lager. I have sold them on ebay. You can read all my positive feedback on these at Luvcolby1. Thanks
Use to have to drive a hour away to buy yuengling but they just expanded into WV. ;D

Not real sure on the angles, Just far, high and wow thats really high. The thought of launching the brew brings a tear to my eye. Yuengling is the oldest American brewery in operation. 1829 I think, could google it I reckon. Goooood stuff ;)

Good mortar, good beer.  Their Porter is one of the best.  Shooting glass from a mortar is questionable at best (not to say I haven't done it and gotten away with it).  One must plan for the 'what if?'.

Wvdad, I've tried the stuff on the right in your photo, it's pretty good brew (when I first heard of this beer years ago, it was when China was starting to import some beers into this country, and because of the way the name sounds, that's what I thought it was).

PS, I've never tried the object on the left, but I like the looks of it.

RIP John. While on vacation July 4th 2013 in northern Wisconsin, he was ATVing with family and pulled ahead of everyone and took off at break-neck speed without a helmet. He lost control.....hit a tree....and the tree won.  He died instantly.

The one thing that you can almost always rely on research leading to, is more research.

Boy! That sure looks good to me! aaand....it's only 10 in the morning.

The barrel is beautiful. I really like the simplicity of the elevation stops.

I lived in the "Land of Yuengling" for over 20 years.  I can honestly say that was the one good thing about living in South Jersey.

But I guess my wife and I are really made for each other.  I want the mortar...she wants the beer.

Now its Memorial Day...lets see some smoke and flame!!!
