If one assumes that ZW is pro-gun wouldn't it be reasonable to note that you are attacking another pro-gun person? Calling someone pathetic sure seems like a personal attack to me, although I'm not the moderator of this thread.

Whatever disagreements you may have, he explained his opinion and I don't see any reason to be flinging personal insults.

You are entitled to your opinion as well, but in my opinion when we start attacking people with a lot of influence in the pro-gun arena, it is not helping our cause. Ted Nugent has done a lot with the pro-gun agenda he presents.

Calling someone pathetic, is not a personal attack, it is a matter of my opinion of that persons perspective on this issue or of his opinion. I find his attack on Ted Nugent way off base.

But thank you for your concern. Here is the meaning of pathetic.
1.causing or evoking pity, sympathetic sadness, sorrow, etc.; pitiful; pitiable: a pathetic letter; a pathetic sight.

Does not sound like a personal attack to me.

Could be, but I never post anything like this unless I have exact examples and some proof. I saw no proof listed with this statement.

We can all post as we wish . It would seem useless to post with with the idea that others will ignore . When you take the time to prove your point you educate others and sometimes win over supporters , that will never happen when a i can post anything attitude is displayed .

I could never accuse someone of doing something lest I seen them do it...but that's just me.

I am glad somone has the opportunity to say things on camera I can only say in my house with nobody to listen except my wife.

You got that right. I wonder how many people bashing a person that is actually doing good for us, what are they doing that has accomplished as much as Ted Nugent has for our gun rights?

We can find fault in just about everyone, but it takes looking past the BS, and focusing on what the over all good he/they do.
We have the liberal clowns and anti-gun clowns trying to discredit people that speak out on pro-gun issues, we sure a hell don't need it from within.

A lot of Teds bull began with entertainment industry stuff for me, and to educate and convince anyone I would probably have to write a book none of you would be interested in anyway...ya know, "Hollyweird"...

Mabye he has changed...but I don't get that impression.

I think the image he projects of himself has always been contrived and disingenuous.

That might be I don't know as Rock music ain't my pleasure . But his show on TV was funny . He has had many statements that support hunting and the 2nd amn ( 2 different causes ) . Like PETA using hollyweard pretty faces and naked bodies to convince the uneducated to follow their cause why should the gun lobby not take advantage of his status ? There are alot of Uncle Ted Heads that might just vote as he tells um .

If you know him personally or professionally and you're against him I can respect that. Some people 'put up a good show". Maybe you know the real Ted.

For me, I like what he says and respect what he is doing NOW. I usually give people the benefit of the doubt till they prove otherwise.

I'm not here to Bash Ted , He is a man of his own convictions.

My opinion on the subject though is while trying to get his thoughts across and educate those folks who maybe are not Pro-gun
or undecided about how they feel on the subject - in public forums he loses moderates in the discussion because they find
him an abrasive and polarizing figure. It's in the delivery of what he says and how he says it.

Other than the use his celebrity to speak his peace to a National Audience occasionally, has he helped promote any formal legislation I am unaware of? Those in the know please inform.

Jimster, I never accused him of using drugs. I was accusing him of misrepresenting himself in reference to "journey to the center of your mind" song and album cover.

I couldn't care less weather or not he used drugs, but for him to act oblivious to the implication is completely bogus.

I already commented regarding delivery of his message.
But your response did allow me an opportunity to expand on my comment and ask who exactly is - his crowd?
With regards to getting laws passed I was more or less curious as to the extent of his activism since I did not know,
and was wondering if others had any additional information they could share.

Understood zombiewolf ....no harm done, no offense taken. I don't know him personally myself...worked with a lady that met him several times up in Irons Michigan when he went to the Elks tavern, her and her husband and the locals liked him OK in real life, but then again, I never had personal contact with him. Although abrasive to moderates on some subjects like gun control....can't say as that bothers me much, never cared for "moderates" myself...there just isn't any in between or grey area's concerning some things in my eyes. I'm glad he just says it like it is when it comes to a free man's rights. He is kind of humerous sometimes. Have no idea what he did when he was young, or really what he's up to now, I'm not even sure if he kept his place here in Michigan, he spends lot's of time in Texas I hear now. I used to watch the hunting video's of him, he got me cracking up a few times watching those.

I'm wondering in this video...was that the camera crew in the background that started laughing? While the guy that interviewd him had to keep a straight face...now that was funny.
