Contender trigger upgrades
« on: May 23, 2009, 01:51:46 PM »
I have an old contender with the screw to set the firing pin. Does anyone know if T/C or anyone else is still doing the conversion to easy change firing pin selector ? Thanks

TC is still doing them.   I believe Jim Henry in Barstow, CA also does them (tccraft1 AT earthlink DOT net).

BTW, that would be a hammer upgrade (not trigger).
Evolution at work. Over two million years ago the genus Homo had small cranial capacity and thick skin to protect them from their environment. One species has evolved into obese cranial fatheads with thin skin in comparison that whines about anything and everything as their shield against their environment. Meus

T/C will do the hammer change for you, BUT, you have to send the whole frame in.

I opted to pick up a replacement hammer through Mr. Henry and install it myself.  Not that difficult of a task though it does require some patience.
