just purchased a 258 with

nickel finish
 3" chamber  20ga  22" barrel  modified choke
straight grip stock

whats the history behind them,  i don't have the gun yet, its on its way.

its in excellent condition lnib...

its gonna make my middle grandson very happy....

John, just in case you didn't get any info yet, here's a thread I found when I was looking up info on mine: http://www.thefirearmsforum.com/showthread.php?t=46668

Mine is BA prefix (1984) and was originally a 20ga/357mag, then someone before me "maximized" it. I put a Survivor stock on it for my son, and it will be his deer rifle.
