New Parrott in Action
« on: May 23, 2009, 04:15:07 PM »
Attached are some screen shots that I captured off a video that I took today firing my new Dom Parrott.  I thought you might also enjoy seeing what the person driving behind me is making all of the funny expressions about.

YEA!

Good pix!

(Are you anywhere near Yarmouth?  I'll be up there next week on a business trip.)

Thanks!  I am about 5 hours north of Yarmouth.  It is a beautiful area and you will be there at the perfect time.  Sorry about the five hours but we measure distance in Aroostook County by time. ;D

If I had an extra DAY I  could drop in, but not in the cards on this trip.   >:(
I've got family in E. Booth Bay and upstate VT.  Then back to work.

Hey Spuddy, good photos of a fine looking gun; I've got a brother that lives in Brunswick, and I will never visit him in the winter again.
RIP John. While on vacation July 4th 2013 in northern Wisconsin, he was ATVing with family and pulled ahead of everyone and took off at break-neck speed without a helmet. He lost control.....hit a tree....and the tree won.  He died instantly.

The one thing that you can almost always rely on research leading to, is more research.

and Brunswick has what we would consider "mild" winters. ;D

That's a good looking picture of the Parrot and the Jeep limber that goes with it.  ;D
What is the weight of the Parrot?

The shipping weight was 155 pounds.  I like your limber comment.

I like your additional details such as the stained wood and the black trim as well as the worm.  Did you drill out the holes on the axel that you put the clevis pins through, or did Dom do that for you?

Spuddy they are 3/16 lynch pins from home depot I only had to clean up the hole with a drill bit. And to detail the handles I used a small sponge brush and sprayed the black paint to the brush and applied it to the metal...I had time waiting on the wheels due to ups so I had time to stain and seal my implements..
