Painting a wood stock.
« on: May 24, 2009, 02:09:04 AM »
I need to repair a crack in a 'pallet wood' stock. I'll use some of Brownells AccraGlas. I'll sand the repaired area then paint the stock. What paint would be best for wood stocks? I just want something flat/drab that will stick well and seal the stock. Trust me I'm not covering up some fine figured walnut here so the purists need not have a coronary. ::) Prefer something in a spray can. Not interested in trying to refinish the stock with Linspeed or Tru-Oil as this wood came from the 'ugly tree'!
