Liberal press bias
« on: May 24, 2009, 03:35:07 AM »
Everybody knows there is a liberal, anti-gun bias in mainstream media, but does anybody know why?  Is it somehow in their best interest to promote communist policies?  If anybody can explain this to me I'd love to hear it.

The news media is like gossipers. They get more attention with "this is horrible" than otherwise, and they get paid for getting attention.

Additionally, back in the 60's we had people stand up and say "This is a multi-generational conflict", and they were calling themselves "Communists". The kids of that era are the senior college administrators of today, and they taught the people who are teachers today. Almost all reporters have degrees in Journalism, and that is a real hotbed of Communism, or whatever they are calling themselves today. They cannot graduate without parroting the party line, and they have a lot of trouble keeping a job without following the party line.

The strategy in this multi-generational war is to try to destroy the status quo. Destroy what people rely on. Destroy people's lives. Get them rootless and insecure, then offer them security with an ideology. (Yeah, this is very similar to boot camp, just directed to a different end.)

Trouble is (for them) that they are not the only ones picking up followers. Christianity picked up some, and so did the various militia groups, and so we get into why the reporters and trolls do all they can to make Christians and patriotic groups like militia groups sound bad.

Abolition of guns is one of the tenets of liberalism.  Liberalism is one of the tenets of journalism.  The media is journalism.

They are certainly pinheads. In attacking the bill of rights they are also attacking the first amendment. They and their kind will be some of the first casualties if a totalitarian government gains control.

It doesn't matter. Either they work within the first amendment, or they work for the government. There's no difference to them.

"I wonder how much of the 1.4 trillion dollars they got."
Well if your talking MSNBC,  they will get money from GE,  who is getting money from the bailout...cause MSNBC could not survive without help, they are in the tank.

Basically, if the media voted for Obama, or those who run it, they will defend even to the point of watching their country go down the tubes.
On the other hand, the other media outlets do the same thing.  Of course they do tend to twist things a bit...for instance, after the first 100 days, they ask how Obama did, not how the country did...a big twist there as nobody gives a rip how Obama does.  I figure the debt is much worse, the state of the country is much worse, and if the other major party ripped into the GDP like they did,  I'm sure the media would rip them pretty good.  But the deal is, defend your party to the hilt I guess.  Watching the Bill O' show one night he came out and aksed a democrat if the democrats ruined America, would they still support the party, the answer was yes, they would always support the Dems no matter what, this shows how stupid they are in defending the party. Republicans are doing the same thing, they are looking for a "bigger tent"...and are abandoning the real conservatives...a huge mistake on their part, I say, let them go...let them have a huge tent...it will probably be empty.

You don't have to be in a party to be conservative and there is nothing wrong with standing alone if your right.

GE used to have factories in Eastern Europe and in China that used prison labor for free.  The own NBC, MSNBC, and CNBC.

Disney owns ABC, and they used to be managed by gays.

Don't know about CBS.   CNN has lost viewers.

Fox has over 50% viewership, with the others the rest.

Why do you think people listen to talk radio?  Not just Rush, but Sean Hanity, Laura Ingram, Mike Savage, and others.

Conservatives have no where to turn, but Radio.

It has been predicted that a third party will emerge by 2012 that will hurt both parties.  Conservative blue and white collar voters who want to control immigration, strong national defence, curb abortion, less taxes, less government intrusions, bring industry back home, cut imported oil, ect.

I know for a fact we can stop imported oil in less than 5 years with no major cost increased in vehicles.
Convert to diesel vehicles and natural gas vehicles.  Put national guard troops on the border and build the fence.  Stop late term abortions since a baby can survive outside the womb after 5 months.  Lower the corporate income tax and encourage industry to return to America.  Have a 1% national sales tax and get rid of income tax.  No corporate income tax if they provide health care insurance.  Simple solutions.  Fair, and our money stays home.
