« on: May 25, 2009, 01:32:49 PM »
take a small battery alarm clock wind fish line around the battery, place approx 2 and 1/2 high or chest height on deer across the trail used  , deer goes by .pulls battery out clock stops giving time deer passed the spot... works every time . for a guy who cant afford game cams etc , or on a budget from the wife , i have used this myself , and have bagged deer spending only 2 hours in my stand because i knew when ole bucky was moving to feed or go to bed anyway i got him in 2 hours once i  knew when he came by  my stand,,, cost less than 10 dollars, time saved priceless  no doubt try it just pay attention to the  time  you set the clock too...  and it will tell you when it was stopped

I'm lost on this one... my battery alarm clocks reset to 12:00 when you plug the battery back in.  The battery could have been pulled loose anything from one minute after I walked away until one minute before I came back but it'll still say 12:00 when I put the battery back in.  You got some 'splainin' to do Lucy!!!

Use an analog with a dial and not a digital.

I'm an ole injun, (Cherokee to be exact) and my grandfather never mentioned using that "ole injun trick". Could have been because when he died battery operated clocks didn't exist.
Could this possibly be RE-CLASSIFIED as a NEW injun trick? ;D ;)

No sir, I doubt he did, and when I was a kid, neither had I. Times have changed, have they not?

Ahhhh... now I understand.  The only analog clocks I have are wind-up ones.  Got two of the "big-ben" style that I use for different things.  Got us a real nice wind up grandfather clock too...  pretty sure that won't go to the deer woods though.

Wow timm.  How do you know it was an Indian?  How about a hillbilly or a punk kid or maybe your sister?  If you did see someone thow trash in the woods it had nothing to do with being an Indian!

There's good and bad people in every group.  If you don't know that then you're a racist.

Oh, and learn how to use a paragraph.

Sorry, I thought his (timm58) comment was "off the wall" with the "indian bottle".  Maybe I missunderstood....

I don't throw words like racist around very often.

Well you certainly did here. He wasn't even close to making a racist remark. I'm Cherokee, and UNOFFENDED, and the man was talking about LITTER in concordance with my attempt at satire on the Ole Injun tricks take on an electronic clock as an Ole Injun Trick.
This thread although harmless, is about as far away from this forums intent as it can get. Don't ya think? You have seen that I think, and that's good enough for me. Sorry means sorry at my house, and you have said you are.
