Another Warrior

, from WW2, has passed on. My Uncle Gib, A Seargent from the Combat Engineers. He was attached to Patton`s outfit but never talked too much about it. His most precious souveners was a little pair of Girls Shoes along with a pair of little Mittens.I asked Him once about them and was told that someday He would tell Me the story behind them, but He never did.God bless Him and all the other Vets who have served.......

 a good post.. mabe a child lost ,, he found in battle. or a child he had to leave behind..in the military ,they take boys thousands of miles from home,but they don t take the man out ofum..ive got a wonder to ponder,, that i ll never know for sure about myself..just word of mouth from one girl in wis..never heard from again slim.. im not ashamed i was a boy. like i said good post..slim
