She was appointed by both Clinton and Bush (with no dissent when Bush did it).

So I would trust 3 president's judgement that she will do a good job and the process should go smoothly.

"I don't believe we should bend the Constitution under any circumstance. It says what it says. We should do honor to it."

I sure hope she continues to see things the same way after taking the seat. With Obama's bunch up there she may run against plenty of oppostion.

I think she may have been lying at the 1997 hearing because her record isn't looking too good right now. I believe 8 of her rulings have gone ahead to the supreme court and they were all overturned. She have been rebuked by liberal judges for not having taken the constitution into account in her rulings.
