How do you guys price brass that you sell?

I have some different rifle and pistol brass that i'd like to sell but don't know how to price it? Can you guys help with this? I've got .308, 243, 357 mag, 38 special and .45 auto rim. Also have a few bags full of 12 and 20 gauge shot shells. everything is once fired from the factory, no reloads. All of it needs to be cleaned. Is there a "per piece" guideline I can go by or what? Appreciate any help I can get. Thanks.   jammer

Best advice is to go thru the reloading classifieds and see what it's sold for, that's why we don't delete ads after they're sold, for future reference by folks like yourself.  ;)

Yeah I did that but didn't find everything, I should look again. Also taking the advice of another member here and looking on gunbroker. But I thought there might be some sort of "going rate" for brass I didn't know about? Thanks. i'll go look further now...  jammer

If all fails scrap yellow brass is $1.12 / pound

What I have done in the past is to look at what new brass is going for and then price once fired at between 50% and 75% of that .

The % will be determened by how much I have and how hard to get the cases are , for example 45 auto's are not too hard to find while say 219 wasp are not nearly as common .

I been collecting brass now for three years with the intend of melting it down to make a brass golf ball cannon.
I have 6-1/2 5 and 6 gallon buckets full of .223 .40 and .38 plus odd and ends of every thing else.
Law enforcement and Prison guards train at out range and I supply the buckets and they fill them.
But the way things are going the brass just might sit for a while in the shed.
I been giving the Cowboy shooters a lot of the .38 special brass seems like they always loose a bunch.

 ;D Stimpy I do have a few 219 Donaldson cases but not enough to buy a brass cannon that will shoot a golf ball ;D
