ruger 10/22 ?

I stop a small shop to day seem they have a used ruger in 10/22 stainless over walnut stock.
I would like to get it for the gran-kids,He is asking $150.00 any idea what they go for ???

I would run not walk back there and grab it. Around here new ones in blue with a birch stock are going for around $200.

I would say its not a bad price but you may not make any money on it if you sell it soon

Most versitile and accurate 22 i have every owned ( well except against my old Marlin 7000 ) , they are tuff as nails and like an energizer bunny they just keep going ..

 And while my M7000 marlin was more accurate then my old ( first ruger) 10/22 , you can replace the barrel on it for a carbon fiber bull barrel or a stainless bull for when he gets older or you want to make smaller groups then that rifle already makes , That is the way my father has both of his configured and he plinks at 100 yards with his to good avail.. So he is very happy with the bull barrel option.

    I Second " Run  dont walk" and get it. I'm lucky in my area to find an old beater 10/22 (stock) for under $200

I went back this morning and pick it up for $150.00 out the door gun it in excellent condition only has 2 small marks by the clip other wise a 10 for sure.
I do need to find the filler screw for the action I would like to teach my granddaughter to shoot iron sight before a scope set-up

  Filler screw for the receiver's top?  I proberbly have a bunch of blued ones if you need one.  I'll ck and get back to you.  If they're there, a mailing address will get you one.   :)

WE ARE HAVING RAIN ALL DAY TO DAY SO i TOOK A TRIP TO THE INDOOR RANGE WITH MY 1911 AND THE RUGER 22 CAL.
WOW THAT GUN CAN SHOOT 20 YARD TARGET IRON SIGHT INDOORS MUST OF PUT 30 ROUNDS IN A DIME CIRCLE
