An update for any that are interested:
The doctor's apt. went OK today. He pretty much ruled out any of the lymphomas, but has no idea what is causing the issue in general. Over all he was rather unhelpful and disrespectful.
For most of the morning she was running a temp, on both Tylenol and ibuprofen, of over 104. (This happens around once a month, once every two at most.) My X asked what we should do for the fever and he said...and I quote... "If you don't know what to do for a fever, you shouldn't have kids." I suppressed the urge to introduce the man to his jar of tongue suppressors (I felt that he should get to know them...in the biblical sense) I asked what we should do about the 104.3 fever NOW (which would be around 106 without the meds) as in "Do you think the fever is serious enough to go to Urgent Care?" His reply was, "Whatever you want, this isn't and E.N.T. issue." and left... He spent all of 3-4 minutes with us and examining my daughter. That includes the "conversation."
I have two things to say...
1. I'm happy that the doctor doesn't think that it is anything serious.
2. If it is something serious and his lack of professionalism and attention to detail costs my daughter 1 minute of pain, illness, or worse, I will beat the dog snot out of the man and count the 10 days in the poky as even... My family isn't the "suing" type. Or...if I'm really mad, I'll turn him over to my X
....nah...he doesn't deserve that.
