I picked up A used Howa 223 Heavy Barrel In a boyds thumbhole stock. I got the gun to hopefully use in the factory Varminter class at the benchrest shoots if its a shooter, My stock is not factory but is the same as the boyds thumbhole varminter, Do the recoil pads on the thumbhole varminter stocks say boyds or howa ? the reason i ask Is because the rules say that the stock has to be factory. I see no difference in the stocks other than what the recoil pads might say. I just want the stock to appear exactly the same as the ones that come on the varminters so that there is no questions. thanks
