17hmr Sportster accuracy?

Hi Guy's
Tried to shoot the other day and the wind picked up so I quit. will wait for a day without wind,but my main
question is what kind of group sizes is expected from the sportster?

in the .17 HMR you should get and honest 1.0 MOA or better. It's all up to the shooter, the gun is easily up to that with ammo it likes....<><....:)

My 17HMR Sportster shoots under 1" at 100 yards consistently. The wind really seems to
affect that little round though. If I'm trying for accuracy I do so in the early morning when
it's calm.

I've shot 10-20 round groups you could cover with a half dollar and the gun could do better than that if you removed me from the equation.The next time I get out with it I am gonna glue a dime up and put 3 into it just so them guys next time won't say ya thats a nice group but ya missed the dime.
