Starr single action revolvers?

I got a chance to get a Pietta Starr single action revolver.  I know that the DA versions have a lot of problems but what have you heard about the single action revolvers?  Are they any good?

A single action, especially a design from the 19th Century, is bound to be better than a double action for reliability and trigger pull etc.  Pretty it ain't, but the Starr has interesting features.  I have shot originals (DA) some 40 odd years ago and they shot fine.

Dakota

They have a rep of being sensitive, a lot of small parts that can break.  It's a design thing, more breakable parts that other pistols.  That wouldn't stop me, and didn't when I got my LeMat!
