get one with muzzle brake. it will be loud but very manageable. i load it the same as rifle,does have flash but what the heck. shoot 7-08,243,22-250,223.most i have paid was last week gander mountain had one at a fl. store. $468.11 delivered to my ffl a 516 with brake and 4x simmons prohunter with holster. i am still smiling. the 223 is a super striker, any are good tractor guns. yotes have no fear of moving equip. you have to be ready when you stop cuz they hit the panic button.i do not always connect but it sure puts some excitment in their life and a desire to be miles away. if not a striker i carry a 600 rem. in 243. i do better with it but it is not as handy in a cab and not ss. i have a charger in 22lr and conversion for 17 mach2. it is not much on killing power. to me 17hmr is better but any center fire 20 vartarg or 221 does much better with 2x the hitting power.. back to striker, the 7-08 was my first $350. of gunsamerica out of oregon.figured the problem was likely he had the rings reversed. it has brake is blue. will hold 1 moa unless i mess up. ok this is enough.
