i received a burgo .22lr six shot revolver and need info , anything anyone knows will help.

its a mod 104" with 4" bbl. blue.
loaded through a load gate , double action. uses the rod to poke out empty shells through load gate.

looks like a good quality gun made in germany in 1963 , it shoots perfectly and the timeing is also perfect.
finished off well. steel barrel, wheel and stainless steel internal mechanics , frame looks like alloy, very reliable and accurate.very good cond.

any info pls.

I'm sorry to say that your Burgo was known in the past as either an RG or a Rohm.  They were seen in this country from the mid 1950's up until the FFA '68 killed off most imports of the time.  After that, some companies either brought the parts in for assembly here or even moved their entire manufacturing.  Quality usually did not improve. They have a zinc frame and stamped internal parts.  They get out of timing rather easily and begin to spit lead at the barrel/cylinder gap.  Once they misbehave, they are not worth a gunsmith's hourly rate to even bother opening them up.

where did you get this info ?, was burgo before rohm or after , like i said is made in 1963 and still functions perfectly , and the internals are definately machined stainless steel and not stamped and the gun looks like well finished no machine marks etc. accurate and fires crisp.

the cylinder gap is also so small you cant even see light shining through when you hold it up to the sun. i know it is not worth much but is it realy as crap as a rohm? looks of much higher quality.

I had one once and had soft metal in it and timing was verrrry bad. Finally welded it shut and gave it to my kid brother as a toy.

Where did I get my info?  Growing up reading Guns magazine in the '50's and '60's, I would drool over all the ads.  There were many ads for the RG or Rohm.  Later, in the late '60's, I was partner in a small gunshop and got to see and handle a great many pistols that were the twin to yours.  They were marked either RG or Rohm.  While your gun is not marked RG or Rohm, it is highly likely that it was built using the same tooling (maybe Burgo bought the RG equipment).  There were two basic models, one with a swing out cylinder and the other like yours, with a loading gate and rod ejector.
