  I think Todd Palin should challenge David Letterman to a celebrity boxing match.  Each man to plendge say, $1000 to the winner's charity of choise.

  That way, he calls letterman out without looking like a thug in any way.

  I'm thoroughly with Dee on this one..Sure there would be legal ramifications, but there is a good chance that a jury of your peers would understand. Again, Dee is right..some greedy lawyers have messed up common sense.
  My son was once faced by a smart alecky ex bro-in-law runt who thought he could insult a bigger man and get away with it. The whole situation changed when my son turned the runt over his knee and spanked his a _ _ !
 
  That is what Todd Palin ought to do with Letterman.
  ...Barring that, there is certainly no reason not to offer the CBS idiot a chance to "back up his mouth" in a fight ring. That wsay Letterman could defend his "manhood'..or is manhood a foreign term to libs ?

I was in Burbank, CA yesterday and on the way to the air port there was a too clean cut homless guy on the corner holding a sign.

Well guess it worked , a stunt like that is to get the one saying it attention !
Walking away and not letting someone like that get your attention in the first place hurts more than a slap in the chops !
I find it remarkable that those who claim to be LEO's advise attacking the nut case . It only put the one being attacked at a disadvantage if the attacker takes it to a higher level. Besides in this case how would you get past his body guard ?

Kicking David Letterman's rear end, would be a lose - lose proposition for the Palin's.  ( It would be funny though ).
A multimillion dollar libel lawsuit against CBS and Letterman might be a better option.
If it were my daughter, there would, most definetely, be something.   I could not live with myself if this went unchallenged.

I don't know if putting my child thru. such would really serve a useful purpose . Look at the jokes about other politicans daughters most were mean and when one considers the source its nothing really but a little washed up joke trying to impress minds that are unimpressive in the first place . its like those wasted minds who hang on every word from a shock jock , they need a life !

   what many of you dont seem to comprehend is that the reason they are out to destroy her is that even they see that she can beat their chosen one, and they are scared to death of her.   what is funny is, the more they try to destroy her, the more people like her.   

   in letterman's and cbs's world, money counts and if you cut it off, he is out of a job.  they would probably find him hanging in a closet somewhere shortly afterward.   :o
