After many months of hearing all about the Max being so easy to do and how effective it is, I have done the dirty deed!

Many thanks to the generous offer of cowboyup 453,

or I still would be whining about needing to do it.

Reaming the 3 barrels did indeed take about 30 minutes from start to finish. However, like any other project I attempt to undertake, all was not smooth.

First I looked for 2 hours to find my handle only to discover it is to small to fit the reamer. Hit several pawn shops looking for the handle, none available.

Stop at a friends house that has every tool available in North America and his is the same size as mine, so spend a few minutes talking to him, walk back to the truck and hear hissing. Check the right front tire and there is a brake spring stickin out of the tire! The friend with me said to drive to his house and he would fix the tire, he worked in a tire shop for a few years, but we broke 2 of the plugs trying to push em thru the 10 ply tire.

CRAP.

Take the tire off and take it to a tire shop and they patch it, go back and put it on, all is good, but wait, still no handle.

Take the reamer back to a pawn shop and explain what we are needing, and between the 3 of us, we built the strangest contraption ya ever did see, but it worked great. The guy let us just barrow the tools and bring them back. After reaming, returned tools and went to test them. They work just as good as everyone says, even to the point of shooting the 158gr Hornady's with H-110 Max's to the same group as the 158gr Rem Mag SP's over LilGun!

Sorry for the book, but it was easy and it is a very flat shooting little cartridge, color me WAY HAPPY!
