JC Higgins CO2 repair

My JC Higgings is leaking gas through the barrel.  Is this a repair I could attempt on my own or is a professional needed?  Anybody know where I can get a schematic for it?

 JC Higgins and Ted Williams (Sears) CO2 guns were mostly Crosman models with Sears' brand names on them. They are repaired using the same seals as the Crosman guns.

 If you could find out what Crosman model your Sears gun corresponds to you could get an instruction book directly from Crosman. IIRC, they'll send one for free.
