I sell cars at Carmax in Nashville. You should try showing cars to people that have been baking on the lot. I open the car doors and it's like opening an oven!!! I am so glad that we're allowed to wear shorts. I have still been able to call in the odd coyote early in the morning before work, also seeing deer browsing on my property in the evening. Life goes on!

The wife and I are planning a backpacking trip down the Jacks River Trail in the Cohutta's the week of July 4th.

While the trail has 42 river crossings and the water is cold, I sure hope it cools down some as it's hard to sleep in the heat.

I coach football and we have been having summer workouts, it has been miserable on us and the kids.  Work some, take break with water and repeat.

  • I feel much better now knowing it will get worse.

We had to turn on the heat for the last two days >:( On the other hand I don't do that 85deg+ and corresponding humidity either.

It's not just here fellas. I drive a semi and it's hot everywhere. The only really cool morning I remember this week was at about 5:00 a.m. in W.V. at around 58 degrees. This was earlier in the week. Lonnie.
