The water boil is a very good method if boiling temp at your altitude is high enough for the wax to melt out. If it works, let the melt cool real good and lift the wax off the top. Another method is to lay the bullets on rags or paper towels, in a pan, in a kitchen oven, set on 220 deg F, or so. If a bit more heat is needed, raise it in 10 deg increments till the lube melts and is soaked into the rags.
Another trick, and this may be espeically important for the many who don't cast and are buying commercial bullets with ineffective wax in the lubricant grooves. Wipe just a film of LBT Blue Soft bullet lube over the lube that is their, just before seating the bullets. I can't explain why such a tiny amount works, but in most cases you will get no leading in handguns.
