New Bisley Vaquero
« on: June 20, 2009, 06:39:04 AM »
I saw on the Ruger website that they have a new stainless steel Bisley Vaquero in .357 and .45 Colt. Now what frame is used with these guns? Is this the old style .45 Colt frame that can handle the powerful "Ruger only" loads, or are these the new lighter (non +P) frames?

It's still a New Vaquero.  Meaning no heavy loads for the .45 Colt.  .357 is .357.

Has anyone actually SEEN and TOUCHED one I have been looking for a pair for CAS since they were put one the website and all I get from local dealers is "NOT AVAILABLE" or this another "GOLD LABEL" or "RED LABEL TRAP GUN"  neither to available anyway? I have more RUGER firearms than all others combined 20 +, but I am really getting discussed with this "dangling carrot" B.S.

Ruger actually does better than most. Usually you see an ad in a magazine, or website, and it's 6 months before you actually see the gun in a store. Sometimes it never makes it out. Ruger is trying to hold off advertising until ready to ship these days, BUT, nobody's perfect.
