I got lucky with 30 year old flex lines (Brake Fun)

82 F100 I put a fresh  motor in last october, lately I could hear the front brakes dragging, metal on metal...

front brake overhaul, I was really expecting a nightmare getting the flex lines disconnected from the hard line, could
not find my flare wrenches ANYWHERE....even so that stuff is notoriously stubborn and loves to
round out w/o moving, and its not like its easy to get to....but..

everything came off w/o a hitch, got really lucky
the rotors were really worn, strange how the outside pads on each side were into the metal, but the inside pads had
plenty of material left   ???

I had wanted to redo the wheel bearings anyway, and maybe I could have been okay but I decided to change the flex
lines anyway...



note to self: pressure wash everything next time before starting...  ::)

If only one side was worn, your calipers were frozen. Looken at the picture they obviously are'nt now. Be sure to get a new hardware kit when you reassemble, the old stuff tends to freeze up rather quickly once it happens.  You did right by changing those hoses. Brakes are as important as it gets in a vehicle, fronts even more so.
