« on: June 23, 2009, 12:11:54 PM »
guys, i have one marked Empire State Arms Co. it looks like either a H&R or a Iver Johnson. its a small frame 32 centerfire, double action and single action. it has no side plate. is there any way to tell for sure if its a H&R? thanks--phil

i posted this in the H&R section to get the attention of the H&R guys, but i have since read that it may have been made by Meridian arms for sears, and is a Iver Johnson copy????

with a couple of good pics it can be matched up to H&R or IJ's pretty easy or just get a gun traders guide and look at the guns there.
