Contender Forearms, Laminated Wood?
« on: September 22, 2003, 08:59:05 AM »
Is there any one still making a forearm for a contender in laminated wood.
I see Boyds, http://www.boydboys.com/BrowseEbus/Contendertca.asp,  has stocks for the carbine, but no forearms are shown.
I wouldn't mind cutting one out myself as I would like a varmint width and weight anyway, one for a carbine and one for a super 14, but I figured someone should still be making them.
 Thanks, Andy

Hey Mutwagn  :D

You are in luck. Check out OldGergiaJim on the net. He makes some beautiful stuff, and reasonable prices, too. I think his website is: oldgeorgiajim.com.  I'll go look as soon as I post this and come back and make sure that's right.

Hope this helps.
