Let's talk about turn-around
« on: June 24, 2009, 03:16:01 PM »
On the afternoon of May 28th, I mailed my shotgun receiver and forearm to H&R for an 20 ga. Ultra.   Today (June 24th), the brown truck pulled up and the guy sprinted up the driveway with a long box under his arm.

3+ weeks for me to mail it to NY, have them fit the barrel, and get back to me.   Now THAT's customer service!!

That's pretty good. Did you call first to see if the barrel you wanted was in stock?

Done and done.

Nope.  Maybe dumb luck (and a lot more dumb than luck), but also maybe they are really trying.

You already had the "Ultra" forearm? I assume you are talking about the Ultra Slug Hunter 20ga or did you send your regular shotgun forearm in and get "Ultra" Ultra Light Slug Hunter ? BTW that is good turn around though I have heard of not to many problems with shotgun buys. Good for you . I'm still to scared to send anything to them for fear of screw up. Kurt

Well, thats the opposite of mine. I sent my frame 12-2-08 for the ULSH 12 barrel and as of today still do not have it. I have called (4) separate occasions and spoke to a diffrent rep each time and have been told the barrels are on back order. I keep asking them to check and make sure my frame is still there and each time they state it is in there building. I hope I get it before deer season, I hope I even get my frame back worst case.
