The ONE - a painful trueth
« on: June 27, 2009, 04:17:06 AM »
The ONE

Written by an unknown Pastor's Wife, and brilliantly said:

And it came to pass in the Age of Insanity that the people of the land called America, having lost their morals, their work initiative, and their will to defend their liberties, chose as their Supreme Leader that person known as "The One".

He emerged from the vapors with a message that had no meaning; but
He hypnotized the people telling them, "I am sent to save you.
My lack of experience, my questionable ethics, my monstrous ego, and
My association with evil doers are of no consequence. For I shall save you with Hope and Change.

Go, therefore, and proclaim throughout the land that he who preceded me is evil, that he has defiled the nation, and that all he has built must be destroyed."

And the people rejoiced, for even though they knew not what "The One" would do, he had promised that he would bring change, and they proclaimed "Yes We Can".

And "The One" said "We live in the greatest country in the world. Help me change everything about it!"

And the people said, "Hallelujah!!  Change is good!"

Then He said, "We are going to tax the rich fat-cats,"---- And the people said "Sock it to them!"

 "---- and "Redistribute their wealth."

And then He said, "Redistribution of wealth is good for everybody"

And the people said, "Show us the money!"

And Joe the plumber asked, "Are you kidding me?
You're going to steal my money and give it to the deadbeats??"

And "The One" ridiculed and taunted him, and Joe's personal records were hacked, publicized, and ridiculed; though no crime could be found.
One lone reporter asked, "That shouldn't be, isn't that Marxist policy?"

And she was banished from the kingdom!

Then a citizen asked, "With no foreign relations experience and having zero military experience or knowledge, how will you deal with radical terrorists?"

And "The One" said, "Simple. I shall sit with them and talk kindly to them and show them how nice we really are; and they will forget that they ever wanted to kill us all!"

And the people said, "Hallelujah!!  We are safe at last, and we
Can beat our weapons into free cars for the people!"

Then "The One" said, "I shall give 95% of you lower taxes."

And one, lone voice said, "But 40% of us don't pay ANY taxes."

So "The One" said, "Then I shall give you some of the taxes the fat-cats pay!"

And the people said, "Hallelujah!! Show us the money!"

Then "The One" said, "I shall tax your Capital Gains when you sell your homes!"

And the people yawned and the already slumping housing market fully collapsed.

And He said, "I shall mandate employer-funded health care for
EVERY worker and raise the minimum wage, and lower the white collar wage.

And I shall also give every person unlimited health-care and medicine and even transportation to the free clinics."

And the people said, "Give me some of that!"

Then he said, "I shall penalize employers who ship jobs overseas."

And the people said, "Where's my rebate check?"

Then "The One" said, "I shall bankrupt the coal industry, and
Perhaps even the oil industry (Cap & Trade/Carbon Tax) and though
Electricity rates will skyrocket, we shall soon build wind farms
And solar power stations and drive green cars that I shall mandate
In Detroit !"

And the people said, "Coal is dirty, coal is evil, no more coal!
But we don't care for that part about higher electric rates."

So "The One" said, "Not to worry. If your rebate ($10/week) isn't enough to cover your extra expenses ($3,000/year), we shall bail you out.

Just sign up with ACORN and your troubles are over!"
"Only the fat cats will have to pay."

Then He said, "Illegal immigrants feel scorned and slighted.
Let's grant them amnesty, Social Security, free education, free lunches, free medical care, bi-lingual signs and guaranteed
Housing..."

And the people said, "Hallelujah!!" And they made him King!

And so it came to pass that employers, facing spiraling costs and
Ever-higher taxes, raised their prices and laid off workers; though they sold much less of their products..
Others simply gave up and went out of business, and the economy sank like unto a rock dropped from a cliff.

The banking industry was destroyed.  Manufacturing slowed to a crawl. And more of the people were without a means of support.

So "The One" again blamed the previous administration, extended unemployment benefits to a year, bailed out his favorite banks, and then took over the banks and auto industries.

"The One" said, "I am the "The One" - The Messiah - and I'm here to save you! We shall just print more money so the government will have enough!"  "Surely one trillion dollars will make everyone happy."

And immediately the Fed complied and the money presses roared.

And China reconsidered their one trillion dollars of loans to
the US ,, and threatened to call in their debts.

Other foreign trading partners said unto "The One",
"Wait a minute. Your dollar is not worth a pile of camel dung!
You will have to pay more for everything.. as your dollar becomes worth less."

And the people said, "Wait a minute.. That is unfair!!"

And the world told " The One", "Neither are these other idiotic programs you have embraced.

Lo, you have become a Socialist state and a second-rate power.
What factories are not owned by your government are owned by us.

Now you shall play by our rules!"

And "The One" said "Americans are arrogant, divisive, and derisive!"   "We will listen."

And the people cried out, "Alas, alas!! What have we done?"

But yea verily, it was too late. The people eventually set upon "The
One" and spat upon him and stoned him, and his name was dung.

But the once mighty nation was no more; and the once proud people were without sustenance or shelter or hope.

And the Change that "The One" had given them was as like unto a poison that had destroyed them from within, and like a whirlwind that consumed all that they had built.

And the people beat their chests in despair and cried out in anguish, "Give us back our nation and our pride and our hope!!"

But it was too late, and the once-glorious "Home of the Brave and Land of the Free" was no more..

You may think this is a fairy tale, but it's not.
It's happening RIGHT NOW,
Already everything down to the last couple of lines....

It is sad. Pweople do actually think BHO is the messiah.
99% of all Lawyers give the other 1% a bad name. What I find hilarious about this is they are such an arrogant bunch, that they all think they are in the 1%.

Yet there are those that will tell you that McCain was just the flip side of this "false prophet" because he stated on "Face the Nation" that BHO "successfully pursued his agenda". There has never been another "despot" like this person (BHO) in over 60 years; not the Bushes, not the Clintons, not even Carter can compare. Comparisons to any past president or presidental candidate is a "figmant of a creative imagination" by people assigning good and evil to political goals of familiar focus groups of a Constitutional Republic, not on world history or Biblical history. (You wouldn't compare the retoric of Karl Marx with Thomas Jefferson because of their great speaking abilities, yet people who know nothing about either man now judge political figures by such "gifts".)  We have never elected a "world leader" who is so "anti-American" and so "eloquently" espouses "marxist" policys to a public so "tuned in" to  "pop culture" that it doesn't matter what he says, but how he says it.
I am even more convinced that God is in charge, and the end results has already been determined (Jesus wins, Satan loses!) It may be "painful" getting to the end of the "choosen one's" reign, but as long as we are on Christ's side, we have already won! (Now that is change I can believe in.)

I got an idea! Let's find a "lessor of two evils" and vote "the one" out. That'll fix EVERYTHING! ;D

It wouldn't fix everything, but we'd be in a tangibly better situation.  You would still be complaining, but that's OK.  The world isn't perfect, never will be.  But there are greater and lesser degrees of good and bad.

Heck no, I mean it. Let's get a lessor of two evils and beat this guy. Let's get'em outta there. We could get John Kerry, or maybe that Barney Franks guy. The queers could help us get that Franks guy in. Barney would be the most famous of all lessor of two evils. He would not only be lessor, but he would be queer too. With today's American mindset, he would be a cinch to win.
Everybody would be afraid not to vote for him because we could call them gay bashers. I think this would work. We'd get Obama out, and a "lessor of" in. The conservatives  ::), would be happy, and the queers would be thrilled. I can see the posters now. Vote for the "Conservative Queer". All Barney would have to do is say he's conservative, and everybody would fall for it. Hey! McCain did it, and the Republicans voted for him. ??? This could work. ;D

Dee, If I remember right, we put Barney Frank in charge of House Financial Sevices Committee by "kicking out" all those "corrupt Republicans". We also placed "Queen Nancy" as Speaker of the House, and Charlie Rangle incharge of the "Ways and Means" committee and gave, not just Democrats but "Liberal Democrats", a "fillibuster proof" majority starting in 2006. Not one "Blue Dog" Democrat was put in charge of a "major" committee after the media "blitz" that "painted" every Republican up for election as being attached to Abramhoff at the "hip" (where was Bernie Madoff when we needed him).  I don't believe I saw any Libritarians or Independents running for those positions vacated by those "Reps", but plenty of Democrats that went unchallenged.
Dee, if you are implying that "Conservatives" were happy with George W. liberal "Fiscal" policies, don't include me as one of them. Although you and I disagree on the Irag War, I was given the impression by your prior "posts" that you were a "Constitutional Conservative." The liberals have moved the political spectrum so far "left" that now even you would suggest a "Drag Queen" for president? (Going alittle over the top to make a point there, Dee ;D ;D ;D). I can picture you on that front porch with your 30/30 in hand in a chair next to your "Don't Tread On Me" and Texas flag ready to take on the "Feds", but you better hope there are some of us Conservatives to join you because there aren't enough Ron Paul supporters to fend off the first "wave".  (And we will, if you haven't "redefined" us into a less patriotic, "transgender" group ;).
I believe Obama is "over-the-top" for this country and even Hillary would have been better, since you have stated it was "their turn".  Would I have voted for her, NO! (I was pulling for her in the primaries though, just like a lot of Democrats who supported McCain wanted him to win!) McCain would have lost by a "landslide" in the national election if Palin wasn't added to the ticket (don't tell me she's gay too :o).
I have to agree with Graybeard that until Libertarians and Independents get their "collective acts together" and run people who can get elected to state and local governments, we will keep electing who the media suggests based on who has the best ads. You can't have a "National" party if there is no "base" and you may be extremely principled, but if you have no "congressional backing" you can't govern.
As William would say, "blessing and peace be with you"; disagreement without anger is a good thing. I agree with your principles, just not some of your solutions (you have a devious mind, my friend :).

Actually jager, you imaginary picture of me on the front porch is pretty accurate. My "satire" of ole Barney Franks is just that. He like most of Congress and the Senate are idiots! We talk about the "future" of a Party (Republican), that has turned a deaf ear to it's supporters, and for the life of me, I cannot figure out why anyone is even looking at the Republicans anymore.
Now, for getting the independent act together. The Independent is at a great disadvantage by design in the United States as the two MAJOR PARTIES, get federal funding in presidential elections, and Congressional and Senatorial elections incumbents are very hard to beat as they have LOBBISTS supporting their campaigns. Until the American people come to this realization and BAND TOGETHER, the "true conservative candidates" will always be, also rans.
As far as my statement that it was the DEMOCRATS TURN TO RULE, I was speaking historically. Twice in history has a party been able to rule the white house for more than 8 years.
Once when Roosevelt won 3 terms, while dying during his 3rd term, and once when Reagan won two terms followed by Bush "I".
Is there significance for that historical fact? You bet there is. This "SHIFT TO THE LEFT" has been happening for a long time. EACH PARTY, will get the power, NEVER DELIVER, on campaign promises, and the people will tire of the rhetoric and replace them with the other party. It is a never ending cycle, until the government, and country finally collapse. This is the reason other empires have fallen throughout history.
The people are transfixed on the two parties, and cannot bring themselves to SEPERATE THEMSELVES from what they have been taught by the government.
I personally have given up on the two parties. They will not change, and I fear neither will the people. The government is corrupt, and the people are ignorant of the solution. They are the frog in the water on the stove. They will not get out.

Bullcrap.  Just because people don't agree entirely with your opinions or the facts as you state them?  That's as ridiculous as saying you favor Obama because you vote third party.  I'll vote right along side of you if the candidate is viable and the one I believe to be the best. Maybe a third party is or someday will be the best option. I'm open to the possibility.  But that will be my choice and your fixation on yesterdays news and rubbing people's noses in it and has nothing to do with it.
Now I have to assemble a BBQ grill with 70,000 parts, and I've wasted too much time on this.

You see Cement Man. You see mine as "bull crap" and YOURS as the proper way of looking at things. YOUR VIEW of MY VIEW being ridiculous, and YOUR VIEW being the RIGHT VIEW, is equally ridiculous. We all have an opinion of why the problem IS, and we all have a personal opinion of the solution. As far as my analogy of history it IS HISTORICAL FACT. That you deny it, doesn't make it any less "factual".
Good luck on your 70,000 part BBQ grill. It must be "quite a grill". ;)

Only Jesus Christ can fix this mess.  I'm just voting for the man who'll take the longest to destroy it.  This world is broken beyond repair.  Read your Bible.

TM-7. I agree, the EU is not doing all that bad with all the rules and regs they have. People complain there as well but not one Head of Govt there is riding roughshot over their Constitution as BHO and his cohorts.

BBF, may I point out that many countries in Europe have between 10 and 20 % unemployment. Tax's are double from what we pay over here. Muslims are pushing their way around, forcing their way and lifestyle on the whole. Anybody with a choice, and the money, which strictly the upper class, come to America for health care. I suggest you move over to one of those wonderful countries for a couple years, and try it out. Don't forget to take your guns with you.Oh yea, maybe you arn't allowed to own any. Let me know in 2 or 3 years on conditions, and how well their doing!!  gypsyman

In random:

Wait a while and see where your unemployment numbers will be. If that Carbon Tax fiasco gets passed you haven't seen a thing.
I don't need to move to Europe, I'm happy as a clam here and I don't do crowds very well.

Most Europeans don't give a rats behind whether they can tote a firearms around or have it hanging off their person.  Most think that you got to be mentally unbalanced and a danger to society just to think that you want to.

Their taxes are high however the people expect and receive more benefits for that as well. Wait a bit longer and see where you are going with Taxes. Brussel requires that their 27 member countries stay below a debt ratio and hands out fines if they don't. It has been more then 60 years since anyone got into a war with their neighbor.

Re Muslim: Yes, they are as pushy as some other ethic/religious groups . Do you think it just happens to be an accident when a "Hispanic Anything politican or organization" pushes for Amnesty and increased immigration for their ethnic group and is happy to push 2 on the phone?

I don't know about all their Govt health insuance, I do know that the UK and Spain are the worst, however Germany has approx 400 individual health insurance companies and if you are well heeled you can be a private patient and get top treatment, no different then in the USA.
