Don't know if you have time to read this time of year, but FFG had a letter to the editor about a guy that knew your Dad a bit..pretty cool.

Someone has been ripping off my FFG's lately so haven't seen the letter.  Who is the guy and what does he say? Ace

Had to dig up the mag,Aug,2003.
The guys name is Joe Perry,he started trapping in the 30's,took a seasonal caretakers job in the UP in 1950,where he met your Dad,goes on to say how good your lures are,and that he continued trapping (in the up)til the bounty got lifted.
He ends his letter with the fact that he caught a few mink last year, but heart surgery and a new knee joint, along with his 93 yrs has him sidelined,he says soon he'll be going where the trapping is the best;joining Dailey,Butcher and Herb.

If you want it,I'll manilla my copy and send it to you,I already read it.

Thanks for the information.  Joe Perry was here about a week ago and bought some fox and coyote lures so must be at least thinking of still setting out some traps.  Joe lives at Lake City but spends a lot of time at his cabin at Seney.
