Honduras callin to Hanity
« on: July 02, 2009, 03:46:08 AM »
Was listening to Hanity yesterday, he got a call from "Honduras"
college student said he wanted let people in America know that
CNN and obama are not reporting the truth about what is
happening in Honduras, my first thought was "and what else is new"

He could have been calling in from across the street for all i know. ;D

There's not much to know:
1) The president made a power grab
2) The nation's supreme court followed the constitution and ordered the military to arrest the president
3) The president was arrested and deported.
4) A new president was installed.

It was all pretty orderly.

The Honduran Congress and the Supreme Court both requested the military remove the president.  Hugo Chavez was very successful in his power grab, and the Honduran president was trying to do the same thing.  The Honduran people saw what he was trying to do and they also were against it.  My sources say the majority of the people in Honduras is behind the Military, Congress, and the Supreme Court.

My niece married a man (Salso) from Guatemala, Salso has many friends that are from Honduras.  Once here in the states Central American folks have a way of finding one another.  According to them, there is communist factions all over the Central American countries trying to destabilize the area.  Many of the Central American people here in America are not here looking for a better life, they are here because they were rounded up and told they had one chance to live.  Leave the country, or be shot.  Just for speaking out politically.  The countries deny the existence of these Death Squads.  But according to the men I have talked to from Central America they all have been rounded up,threatened or shot at.

The deposed president of Honduras had the backing of the Communist factions, they were attempting to rig the vote so he could get the term limits removed.  The next step was to get him appointed president for life.  Another word for Dictator.

As I said before look at who is condeming the act of removing the president.  Castro, Chavez, and Obama.

Sourdough:

Did Obama really speak publicly against the removal of the Honduran president? !!! ??? Do you have any references to news articles of what he said? I'd really like to see that.

I have some great Honduran memories and I like the country a lot. I'd love to go back.

this is what i had heard earlier on the subject, and that obama was siding
with chavez. The person that called in on Hanity was talking about obama
siding with chavez and how wrong he was. He said that yesterday the x-pres
had been charged with drug dealing and 16 other various counts.

I know a guy from the Dominican Republic. As a child you did not go near the streets when a government vehicle was around. They did not stop for anything, including children.

You can add the UN to the mix of wanting the ousted Prez back in power. No surprise there.
Kudos to the Honduran Supreme Court and their military.  :)

I saw reports on CNN, and heard reports on Both NBC and FOX news.  I admit I personally did not hear the report from his mouth, but three news services reported his condemning the Honduran military action.

I found this from Rush Limbaugh some folks might find it interesting, and might explain Obama's condemnation.

It could be that Obama is using the Roosevelt strategy of making such a huge mess that people keep voting him into office.

Now that he owns the senate, do you think he'll be able to get an amendment repealed?
