I'm not aware of anyone importing or manufacturing Blackpowder ammo in Canada.
Loading the true gunpowder is not a real challenge, especially for pistol cartridges, whether used in revolvers or rifles.
-Case preparation, sizing and repriming is the same.
-Dip enough powder into the case so that the bullet you are using compresses the powder by about 1/16th of an inch. The LEE 1.9cc dipper works well with the .45 Colt
-seat the bullet.
The only real variations are in bullet lube, it should be SPG or Lyman Blackpowder Gold, or some homemade recipe that most BP shooters have commited to memory. Modern hardcast bullets & crayon lubes do not work for real black, but may work for BP substitutes. Cleaning can be as simple as soap & hot water, followed by a drying up and oiling with a non-petroleum base lubricant. You likely have one of the better lubricants in your kitchen, Extra virgin olive oil. Avoid all other cooking oils, as they dry, leaving a sticky goo all over your guns.
