1.  Yes.  Looks tasty.
2. no - can't remember if mother bear with young are off limits legally, but I make it a point not to shoot the mother unless (see 4 below)
3. no- can't shoot animal in water above the knees (another state law)
4. no, will not shoot a mother with kids UNLESS the kids are eating on their own.  Unless I see the fawns graze, I won't shoot mom.

Besides, its in a fence.

Unless that fence is my garden then I might shoot the fawns then shoot mom...... :P

I'll say no to all too.

1  I don't know much about moose, is the white seasonal or rare?  Also, it looks young, maybe too young for a legit harvest.  That shot looks like it's better to take with a camera than a firearm.

2&4 mother with young, just can't do it myself.  If they were in my garden (I can't tell you how much my garden has suffered from the whitetail) I may feel differently.  Maybe, maybe not.  The question in the OP  sets the stage as hunting with only a couple of days left to fill a tag.  I couldn't do that to fill a tag.  Again, good shots with the camera.

3  Even if it were a legal shot, which would depend on the state you were in when this shot presents itself, there is the probelm of retrieving your kill.  That is a large animal.  I wouldn't want to try to drag him out of there.  I'd sit and wait and hope he got himself to a better spot and then consider my shot.  Again, I don't know much about moose or moose hunting.  Maybe these thoughts are way off base and the logistics of moving him are something that I would have a plan for before I was in the position to have to do it.  Sitting here looking at the screen, I don't like the shot.  Maybe others can weigh in and I may learn something.

I would pass on the shots with the mother black bear with her cub and the doe with the two fawns. No way could I do something like that. The albino moose, well that is a tough one. Getting a moose permit for any of the three northern New England states is very tough. I may take it and to the best of my knowledge there is no ban on it. I am also willing to bet that some place like Cabelas would want to have it as a lifesized mount.

The moose in the water.Hmm. That is a good sized bull. I would wait for more of the chest area to show before taking the shot. I know if they die in the water it is a bear of a job getting them out but again the opportunity for a nice bull is there.

No to all.
I never seen a white moose so I don't think I could do it. 2 & 4 there's no question, I just couldn't do it. 3 I'd wait for a better shot plus I wouldn't want to drag him out of there.

The only shot I would consider is #3.  If the moose is going to be easily retreived than sure, but if it's going to get washed down a big deep river then no way.  I'd have to see what's down river before making that call.

#1 Albino's are so rare that I don't think they should be shot.

#2 & #4  I couldn't ethically shoot a mother with young.  If you're starving it's one thing, but for hunting I don't think it's right at all.

If legal yes on the albino  but no the rest. The fawns likely would do well on their own but still I see no need to orphan them that young. Generally female bears with cubs are not legal. The moose in water no way Jose wait for that sucker to get on land and heading away from water.

If leagal and I have the ability to get the game home, then yes for 1, 2 and 3.  Why? They're going to die anyway and I don't get to hunt game like that very often. (Are the cubs are old enough to make it on their own?)

4. No.  Why?  Lots of deer around here, would wait for another doe.

The fellow who said that was either pulling your leg or he had no clue what he was talking about.

GB the fellow kills one every other year . He has a large boat that can sleep a couple hunters and a launch that he uses to hunt out of . He lives on the Red river and sails up to the northern part of lake Winnipeg to hunt . They live off the boat and hunt the shore of the lake . When they kill one the hook to it and float it to a tree with a limb hanging over the water . They use a chain hoist  to hoist the critter up as they skin it . I have not watched them do it but have seen the boats and chain hoist .
I hunt waterfowl on the red river and lower part of the lake and can see how it would work well . Access is by boat and the part i hunt is mud for miles . you sink up to you knees in most places the way they do it seems the most pratical way . I hunted years ago with a man who would float all the deer we shot down a creek instead of draging them a mile or more . It was a narrow deep creek and he had a pole with a hook on it . He would tie a short cord around the deers neck and let it float , he would use the pole to hook the cord if the deer got hung up on something and to grab it as the creek emptied into the lake .
If ya can see it ya can hit it !
