What screw part no

Was adjusting rear sight elevation on my Tracker 1 and the screw flew off. Got a part number?

They don't list any parts for the Tracker 1 since it was discontinued, they only list the sight base and the complete sight for the Tracker II which is part #S02028 for $19.10.

Thanks. The rear sight is brazed or soldered on. Went to Ace Hardware and tried some screws. 4mm and 4-40 are too small in diameter. 5mm and 6-32 are too big in diameter. Probably 1/4" or 3/8" long. Does anyone sell a variety pack of gun screws and what size are gun screws usually?

The screw from a Weaver 82 base fit the thread. Head was the wrong shape. 6-48. Getting there.

H&R and Numrich came up with nada.

The screw from a rifle rear sight fit better?

It's worth a try, I just measured the elevation screw on my 45-70 sight, it's .185" long, 6-48 thread. On the old parts list, it's part #R01336, sold for $2.06, ya might call H&R and see if they have it.

Is that screw notched? Ie you turn it slightly, it clicks and sort of locks, until you turn it more? Thanks.
