Differance between the Turkey barrel and the Goose barrel?
« on: July 10, 2009, 01:43:41 AM »
I am going to have a 12 gauge barrel put on and saw that they listed both turkey and goose barrels with screw in chokes.  My question is what is the differance?  Is it just the choke that they send since the Goose would typically be for steel shot and the turkey would be for lead?

Anyone?? ???
If you can't be a good example, then you'll just have to serve as a horrible warning.

Knowing nothing about either, but looking at their website, it looks like the turkey is 24" and the goose is 28".

The web site lists a 24" barrel for steel shot, so I don't know if there really is a difference in the barrel or it's just the choke that comes with it. I will probably go with the 24" Turkey with the extra-full extended choke.

It is just the choke that comes with it. ;)
